Easy to make, easy to store, and just as easy to use. Give this mix a go when you want to use less salt.

You’ll need:

5 tsp onion powder

2 ½ tsp garlic powder

2 ½ tsp paprika

2 ½ tsp dry mustard

1 ¼ tsp thyme

½ tsp white pepper

½ tsp celery seed

Mix these all together and store in a salt shaker.

Tip: keep this where it is visible. If it’s tucked in at the back of your spice cupboard you will be less likely to use it and just carry on reaching for the salt
