This is very easy to make and includes spinach which is high in folic acid – when pregnant, your intake of folic acid should be higher than usual.

(serves 1)

You’ll need:

1 small banana

3 heaped tbsp plain low fat yoghurt

2 tbsp milk

3 tbsp water

2 heaped tbsp raw oats

1 handful baby spinach

Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix well. Have it while it’s at room temperature
