This yoghurt sauce has a slight tangy taste to it and can be used as a healthier alternative to mayonnaise.

(Makes about 1 cup)

You’ll need:

220ml plain low fat yoghurt

20ml white vinegar

1tsp mustard

1 pinch salt

Thoroughly mix the ingredients together in a bowl and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tip: For a more tangy flavour, add some more mustard; for a less tangy flavour, use less vinegar. A sauce should be a tasty accompaniment to your meal, so cook using flavoursome ingredients and use the sauce to complement the flavour or to add some moisture.
